I'm thanking my lucky stars I haven't got to send this back to China!Guys, I had the same problem, sent the unit in service here in Romania (third party shop) but they did not know how to fix it. For such a popular piece of film making equipment it is staggering how little support there is out there and how precarious the Crane appears to be. For anyone else having the same issue I managed to fix by having the USB connected to the Crane (With it switched off), running the Gimbal Tool as an administrator, switching the Crane on, and using firmware 1.52 (Download from ) and then updating. I've got in touch with Zhiyun, however I've read they aren't very responsive and really can't afford to have this bricked.Has anyone had this issue? Do you have the previous firmware issues for the Crane? Can anyone help at all with this?EDIT: Thank goodness, I have managed to fix this. I can't find any previous firmware versions anywhere online, and I've been researching for hours and can't find any solution for this.

Good luck! (I used a Mac but it is identical on a Windows computer). At this step the software should start updating.To be honest I tried a few times until it worked, I quit and relaunch the application and doing the steps again and again.It's stupid procedure but it really worked.
